故事本身短小精悍，讽刺意味十足，插图用动物拟人化来代替，看完后发人深省，到底是活着重要还是死了以后更有价值，艺术品的价值到底是画作本身，还是画家所谓的名气，故事很好但绘本颜色过于鲜艳，孩子表示不是很喜欢这个画风。。

用绘本的形式把安妮的一生交代了一下，但因为绘本有局限性，过于简短的文字并不能让孩子产生共情性，可以用这本绘本作为引子来勾起孩子的兴趣，但如果要让孩子更加的了解纳粹以及犹太人背后的故事，还是建议去读《安妮日记》的文字版。
