这是一本让孩子打开哈利波特魔法世界的神奇之书，不仅让孩子知道了罗琳阿姨创作哈利波特的前后经历，提前预知了部分剧情，还了解了部分人名的意义，比如remus lupin教授的名字，remus是缔造罗马城的被一头母狼养大的双胞胎之一，而lupin的意思是wolf-like，而卢平教授在书中就正好是一个were-wolf。让娃真切感受到了语言的魅力，同时也对后续听读哈利波特做了一个很好的铺垫。
