to be honest, i didn’t try to raise his reading level or thought he would feel in this way. i just simply wanna finish the reading list i made for mother’s day. and that’s it.
so i compare the two books carefully to figure out why i never got the chance to finish the picture book guess how much i love u.
1. the words in guess how much i love u are actually much more than the fly guy series.
2. the plot of fly guy is more attractive to a boy aged 3 while guess just talks about love, an abstract concept.
3.the characters in fly guy seems funnier than guess, which is about 2 bunnies asking questions and answering.
4.fly guy has the relevant pictures of each dialogue and the actions and background are selected in an interesting way.
there r so many sound words and the reading pen can read them out exaggeratedly.
no wonder lawrence likes fly guy series more than some famous picture books. maybe guess how much i love u needs readers aged 5.
