在建群初期，我跟大家分享了一些英语启蒙初期阅读的绘本，其中就有这本《i am a bunny》。
这本书不仅画面美，而且语言也很美。小兔子带我们领略一年四季的美景，感受四季的动植物们季节性的变化。
非常经典的一本原版绘本。
同一个系列，一共有三本，只要买这一本就好。
这本绘本大概是六六8个月的时候入的。
小时候跟他一起阅读的时候，没有着重书中的句子，而是对他感兴趣的，指着图片读，a bunny， flowers，a butterfly，white cloud…
生活中看到这些的时候，也会跟他说。
对于低幼时候已经很熟悉的绘本，大一点再阅读的时候，我们可以把绘本进行拓展。
今天就来跟大家分享这本绘本的简单文字拓展。

what can you see?
we can see a bunny and a ladybug.
where are they?they are standing under the mushrooms.
does the mashroom look like an umbrella?
how's the weather? it's rainy
i am a bunny, my name is nicholas. i live in a hollow tree.
what is a holow tree?
hollow means empty inside.
let's look at the tree, do you see a hole?
the rabbit can live in this hole.
what else can you see? yes, we can see some birds.
one mommy bird and three baby birds.
what are they doing?
themommy bird is feeding baby bird a worm.
so what do the birds like to eat?
worms.
in the spring, i like to pick flowers.
there are so many flowers here.
yellow flowers and white flowers.
big flowers and small flowers.
i chase the butterflies and the butterflies chase me.
wow, so many colorful and beautiful butterflies here.
what is the bunny doing ?
he is hopping and trying to catch the butterflies.
can he catch them?
in the summer, i like to lie in the sun and watch the birds.
what can you see?
we can see white clouds and birds.
how many birds here?
one two three four.
where are they?
one is flying in the sky, and the others are standing on the branch.
what else can you see?

what coour are the strawberries?

do you like strawberries?

how does the strawberry taste?
and i like to watch the frogs in the pond.
where is the bunny? she is sitting on a log,
what is the bunny doing?
she is watching the frogs jumping and swimming in the pond.
maybe the bunny wants to make friends with the frogs.
do you have friends?
how many frogs can you see? one two three four.
yes, four frogs.
when it rains, i keep dry under a toadstool.

a toadstool is a kind of mushroom
do you see the ladybug?
yes, the ladybug is standing under the mushroom too.
why they are standing under the mushroons?
because it's rainy.
(we can singthe song : rain rain go away

where is the frog? the frog is sitting on the mushroom. (focus on "under"and "on")
i blow the dandelion seeds into the air.
can you blow?
（if you have a candle by hand, you can light the candle ,ask kids blow out the cande, it can be fun.)
look at the dandelion seeds, do the look likeparachutes? (show kid a picture of parachute)
in the fall, i like to watch the leaves falling from the sky.
in the fall, the leaves change colors, some change to red, some change to yellow, some change to orange, or brown or some other colors.
i watch the animals getting ready for the winter.
what animals can you see?
two raccoons, three wild geese, and two squirrels.
look at the squirrels, they are storing food for the winter.
and when winter comes, i watch the snow falling from the sky.
it is so cold in the winter.
what is the bunny wearing? the bunny is wearing a warm hat, a pair of mittens, a yellow coat.
do you see the footprints?
then i curl up in my hollow tree, and dream about spring.
the bunny has fallen asllep.

也是我阅读过程中经常唱的一首歌。
在写这本分享的时候，我发现sss不愧为作为启蒙儿歌的第一选择，raz真的是宝藏般的分级。
raz 里面有涉及到季节的几本书，比如 raz aa里面的《winter》 ，raz b面的《winter fun》
raz b里面的《pond life》，《 pop out 》等等，都可以在这本里面进行拓展。
这些横向阅读过的内容，我们可以在绘本精读的时候利用起来。
