阅读完成,读完这本以后,让我想起了看过的中文版的居里夫人的故事,有很多重叠的地方,也有很多不同之处,英文的感觉更纪实一些,中文的美化的部分很多,还是有差距的。但是在写作技巧上,英文也会有铺垫,承接上文的用法,所以文学是相通的

最值得称道的是,作者在为牛顿作传的同时,不仅介绍与之相关的重要历史人物,而且配上图片,让读者有兴趣、有线索寻找更多相关的人物传记来阅读。孩子读完后马上希望接着看爱因斯坦的小传,这是孩子第一次主动要求读人物传记。

仅仅告诉孩子爱因斯坦是一位伟大的科学家,未免过于空洞和抽象了。但是看到这本书的封面上带着生动表情的古怪老头,孩子想了解他的兴趣就加深了一些,看完整本书后,孩子对爱因斯坦的印象首先是peace-loving,他一直希望没有战争,甚至他去世前的最后留言是希望世界各国放弃核武器!其次,是full of imagination,他无时无刻不在思考,想象力极其丰富,他的思想大大超出了人们的想象,很多年后还有好多科学家在验证他的想法;另外孩子还认为他非常友善和为他人着想,他会帮邻居家的孩...

有意思的是,他充满浪漫主义色彩的旅途见闻,在元朝时的中国无人置疑,而在他的故乡威尼斯,则被视为天方夜谭。
边讲边讨论。用来做英文阅读。爱因斯坦妙语连珠,让我们既苦恼,又充满乐趣,怎么翻译会更优美和流畅,意思更为清晰明了,变得充满乐趣,可惜孩子现在的词汇量还不够大。还需要讲讲查查。断断续续读了一个多月,每隔一天读一段,因为平时还有作业和课程,还剩下最后六页!胜利在望!

超爱达尔文,喜欢看他的物种起源,喜欢神奇的自然万物!做为一名博物学家,他的工作真是堪称伟大!历经五年的航行,让他收集到了大量的动植物标本,从而写出了他之后的几大著作,当然最有名的还是物种起源!但也因为这次唯一的长途旅行,让他落下了一身的病,几乎没再出过远门。
这套书是英文版,对儿子来说有些难,他还是更喜欢看中文版的。
