阅读完成，读完这本以后，让我想起了看过的中文版的居里夫人的故事，有很多重叠的地方，也有很多不同之处，英文的感觉更纪实一些，中文的美化的部分很多，还是有差距的。但是在写作技巧上，英文也会有铺垫，承接上文的用法，所以文学是相通的

最值得称道的是，作者在为牛顿作传的同时，不仅介绍与之相关的重要历史人物，而且配上图片，让读者有兴趣、有线索寻找更多相关的人物传记来阅读。孩子读完后马上希望接着看爱因斯坦的小传，这是孩子第一次主动要求读人物传记。

这系列的不少书中的插图都是版画风格，颇有些僵硬的古怪及古老感觉。
马可波罗是商人，也是冒险家，他的一生可谓精彩纷呈，波澜壮阔，远远超出了时人的想象力。
有意思的是，他充满浪漫主义色彩的旅途见闻，在元朝时的中国无人置疑，而在他的故乡威尼斯，则被视为天方夜谭。

边讲边讨论。用来做英文阅读。爱因斯坦妙语连珠，让我们既苦恼，又充满乐趣，怎么翻译会更优美和流畅，意思更为清晰明了，变得充满乐趣，可惜孩子现在的词汇量还不够大。还需要讲讲查查。断断续续读了一个多月，每隔一天读一段，因为平时还有作业和课程，还剩下最后六页!胜利在望!

超爱达尔文，喜欢看他的物种起源，喜欢神奇的自然万物！做为一名博物学家，他的工作真是堪称伟大！历经五年的航行，让他收集到了大量的动植物标本，从而写出了他之后的几大著作，当然最有名的还是物种起源！但也因为这次唯一的长途旅行，让他落下了一身的病，几乎没再出过远门。
这套书是英文版，对儿子来说有些难，他还是更喜欢看中文版的。
